This year, the Game Changer application process has migrated to a fillable PDF application form. Download the form, work with your team, and submit it through the Docusign link below.

Grant Restrictions:

Funds may not be used for:

  • Hiring of New Full-Time Positions (part-time positions are allowable if reviewed and approved by the corresponding department chair and Human Resources)
  • Stipends to Faculty and Staff
  • Incentives to Students (e.g. prizes for completion of surveys, purchase of gift cards, cash prizes, etc.)
  • Alcohol or other ineligible OTC budget costs

Grant Scoring

Game Changer grants are scored using a common rubric (found here) by a committee made up of former Game Changer winners and representatives from the finance, grants, and project management offices. Finalists are then selected by the Strategic Planning Council at their February meeting.
