Grant Development Office

The Grant Development Office assists faculty, staff and administrators seeking external funding through grant opportunities. The department plays an integral role in securing funds that go directly toward serving OTC students and communities in our service region.

The grant development team specializes in helping faculty and staff navigate the grant writing process by researching possibilities, setting reasonable policies, providing general content and conforming projects to the college’s standards. In an effort to provide consistent, accurate and non-duplicated grant services, all grants, including partnerships with external entities, should be submitted through the Grant Development Office.

The office also works closely with the OTC Foundation and the Finance Office to secure external grant funds used to further the college’s mission. These funds are often obtained through a commitment to building relationships with private organizations.

To support internal innovation, the Grant Development Office also has the privilege of awarding Student Success Mini-Grants to OTC faculty and staff. These grants provide funds to support projects using innovative ideas to aid the college in achieving its strategic planning goals.
